Pros: First time our entire family (5 families, total of 20 people, ages 5-73) has been together in whole in the last 10 years. Everything we had hoped for we received. No dust-ups, no issues, cousins spent quality time together, families spent quality together. Family and individual pictures were taken which is what the grandparents wanted. We couldn't have asked or received anything more. Dinners were spent together and relished.

Cons: They can on improvements on their meals, the food could be of better quality. Sometimes the coffee was cold in the main dining room. Maybe they can focus more on healthy options as they only have one very limited option by the Spa with limited service.

In my opinion two of the ports of call were not worth it. Lerwick and Dover. In Lerwicks case,it took to long to get there for half of day on the port. Not much to see or do. In Dovers case in my opinion it was a waste of time. The trip we took, it took us longer to get there that the time we spent in town. Canterbury. They are remodeling the church,they charge a fee to get in and we were not forewarned. They also did not tell us that we had to surrender our passports to the Irish government. This was a Big Surprise to all of us. In the middle of your cruise your told, Ho by the way tomorrow you have to surrender your passport to the Irish government. It was a lot of people very upset.

It's 9/24. Please don't tell me the ship we were just on has already been refurbished! We'd been on Eclipse before, and our Concierge Veranda room was smaller than we remembered.The bathroom sink faucet was installed backwards, which made it virtually impossible to get cold water. And you really need more than 4 small drawers for clothes, especially in cooler climates! Food choices in Main Dining Room were such that we elected to go to the buffet the two nights we were on ship. Their food was fine. Never saw the entertainment and was aboard ship for the only port. We had a medical emergency on ship which made it necessary to disembark in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We hit the emergency button on the phone three times to summon someone, but no one ever answered. Walked to infirmary and had difficulty getting in. Once in, the Infirmary staff attention was excellent. Although the Guest Relations staff was helpful, the chaos during disembarkation was unnerving for someone who needed to follow their spouse to a hospital. Celebrity's Care Team, on the other hand, was excellent with follow-up.

This was my 3rd cruise to Bermuda and my first Celebrity cruise. It was wonderful! The ship was beautiful and was consistently cleaned, there were spaces for all kinds of activities and NO activity (I loved the covered, quiet pool area), the food was delicious with a wide variety, especially vegetarian options (but some of the soups were watery). Drinks were expensive, the next time I'd likely get the drink package. I'd love more days on Bermuda, perhaps a 10 day cruise would be better.

Just got off the Eclipse. The ship is older but still nice. My husband likes something to do each day so he was worried about keeping busy. But he found daily activities to keep him busy. The spa and Persian Garden were great! My hot stone massage was amazing. Dinner at Murano was the best I have ever had on a cruise. Food was superior and the Staff Ioan and Medicris (not spelled properly) we so attentive. We did eat at Tuscan Grill and it was an off night. Staff was no where to be found. Steaks were mediocre. I was really disappointed. We ate at Blu most of the other times. We tried eating at the Food Frenzy (Buffet) but though the food looked good....was very bland and tasteless. So back to Blu we went. Service was great and food was much better than the other choices except Murano....it was still the best overall. Our cabin steward was very attentive. The shows were 4 out of 5 stars. Took the glass class and made a vase. The lawn on the ship needs removed and replaced with actual usable space. We played bags games there several times. Never saw anyone else using it. Drinks were great and the wine sommelier was very helpful...though some nights very busy and we had to wait.

Icebergs, penguin's, beautiful excursions to the cities and countryside. Start your vacation early and tour Buenos Aires. Then fly over to see Iguazu Falls. Bring clothes for the warmer days, and don't forget winter clothes for Antartica.

We had a great time on our Alaskan cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Cons: Only problem was being in Barbados on a Sunday when nothing was open. We would have preferred having a jazz group playing in the Ensemble Lounge.

The ship was well maintained and the service was great. We enjoyed the Select Dining option which allowed us to go to dinner whenever we wanted rather than being locked into a specific time. We never had a problem being seated promptly. We enjoyed sharing tables and meeting a number of interesting people from all over the world. The Beyond the Podium program that Celebrity provides are always interesting and informative. We enjoyed hearing from a mystery writer, Cathy Ace, who was funny and very entertaining. Dr. Wayne, who spoke on the geology and weather of the Caribbean, was also informative and interesting. The Apple classes were also excellent and very well attended. We look for interesting things to do that may not be on the ship's list of things to see. Many of the islands have small local museums which give an insight into the history of the particular island. Visitors should look for these instead of spending all of their time shopping.

The food in the Ocean View Café never changed from day to day. It was even the same for lunch as it was for dinner. Some variety would have been nice. The dinners in the dining room at night were good, but I have had better on other cruise ships. There could have been a larger variety of shopping on board. There was very little logo wear to purchase and all of the t-shirts and sweatshirts were from destinations that the cruise did not go to. The ship had a live glass-blowing show put on by Corning Glassworks. It was very impressive to watch and the pieces that they made were auctioned off for charity at the end of the cruise.

My wife and I enjoy the casino, however, after several days of only losing, we were bored. The cruise lines should increase the percentages somewhat so passengers feel they can play longer. We were on a transatlantic cruise with nothing to do. The daytime activities were minimum and it was too cold to use the pool. Bingo was set at $39, which is too high, so hardly anyone went. They had to cancel several days because no one showed up.

Exotic Southern Caribbean .... wonderful cruise

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Wow! The experience on the Eclipse was fantastic. Also, the tours booked through Celebrity were very good - with one exception that was made good by Celebrity with a partial refund back to us for our disappointment in one tour suggested by them. Sure that will change! All in all, it was TERRIFIC.

Food and service can't be beat!

I'd book every cruise with Celebrity if only they went everywhere I want to go! The food is a cut above other mid-priced lines, the service is impeccable, and the cabins are roomy (we pay the little bit extra for the Concierge class, which also gives us priority boarding so no long lines). And they greet you with a glass of champagne when you board! What could be a better way to start a vacation? :-) The review process required that I 'score' everything but I can't really comment on the onboard entertainment or activities because we spent our days snorkeling, swimming and sightseeing (not to mention rum tasting), so we were fast asleep shortly after dinner each night.

Caribbean anniversary cruise

Pros: Beautiful ship. Very clean and well maintained. Crew was exceptional.

Cons: Some schedule concerns with dinner and shows and programs

The cruise was relaxing as well as interesting in the ports of call. We enjoyed meeting so many well traveled people and learning about their experiences. But - it's always nice to get back to the good ol' USA and to appreciate even more the life we can live here.

Iceland and Norweigan Fjords

Pros: Great ports, good tours, helpful staff, and great lectures.

Cons: The weather was cold and wet and because the ship was full, there were not enough comfortable places in public areas for sitting without having to buy a drink. Even buying a drink spaces were very limited. If you did not get to the theater 15 minutes early, the popular shows filled completely up as there were not enough seats for a full ship.

Recommended: Yes

Many of the problems would have been avoided if the ship was not full. Most things were handled well with so many people but the weather caused the flaws to show with indoor public areas too small for a small ship.

Excellent Glimpse of the Baltic

Pros: Wonderful ship and crew. Nice education at Ports.

Cons: Just a glimpse...never enough time to really explore.

Pros: Everything was done right, I was as impressed as I was in 1968 when I first experienced cruising.

Cons: Everyone loved the entertainment giving standing ovations after every show, I would have liked more than one comedy show.
